Restaurant reviews

All blog posts are about actual experiences. Stories are always truthful and never dictated by anybody else. As far as choosing a restaurant goes, the stomach, not the blog, takes the lead. There may be invitations to eat at a restaurant, for free or not, or given a gift certificate. Such cases would always be disclosed in the post.

Invitations to events or to visit

Invitations to bloggers' events are considered, although more often declined. Some invitations, including media launches, are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Again, these circumstances would be disclosed.

Advertorials

Advertorials are not welcome. If you see one in this blog, please drop a message as a reminder. Consider all content in this blog as "editorial" unless otherwise specified (e.g., press release).

Press releases & kits

Press releases are run every once in a while. Press kits may be sent to a preferred mailing address. Just send an email to gluttononabudget[at]gmail[dot]com.

Product reviews

Only products that have actually been tried are blogged about. These may be bought, gifted or sent by commercial establishments or marketing companies for testing. If the product being featured came from an involved third-party, expect full disclosure. Also, sending products does not assure they will be tried, especially if they look suspicious or scary.
