Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern's more bizarre past

Because I'm still too busy to process my photos for blogging, I'll tell you about this news bit I saw online.

Do you want to know how to become a TV host for a hit food and travel show? Me too! But I don't think I can follow Andrew Zimmern's career moves, not that I can follow his footsteps all the way to Testicleland either.

Get this: during Zimmern's interview with The Fix, he confessed that before becoming a food junkie, he was a crack junkie and a purse snatcher 20 years ago when he was homeless in New York City!

I now understand how he can take all the challenges on Bizarre Foods. If he was able to crawl his way out of his bizarre past into the big, successful shoes he now fills, eating live worms and wild mushrooms is piece of cake.
